Insurance valuations
Losing an expensive or sentimental piece of jewellery is something most people would rather not think about. But if it does happen, it is your responsibility to convince an insurance company to pay out for a replacement at the correct value. We provide you with a detailed, descriptive document that meets the exacting standards laid down by the National Association of Jewellers’ Institute of Registered Valuers. Our valuations are periodically submitted to and monitored by the Institute, which ensures that we consistently meet those standards. Click on the images to the right to view sample insurance valuations to get a feel for the level of research and detail required.
.
Probate valuations
Rufus Valuations can also provide valuations for probate purposes where values are needed for HMRC by legal representatives winding up the estate of the deceased. We also provide valuations for divorce and family division where the value of assets is requested for the consideration of a court; and for private sale where a value reasonable to both buyer and seller is required. Please contact us for any other valuation needs you may have.
